Tender Description
Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the restoration of assets damaged during the 2015 Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia Event. Roads in the Southern area package are as follows:
* Bakers Road
* Cherry Tree Road
* Coombes Road
* Dakins Road
* Emerys Bridge Road
* Kanigan Road
* Netherby Road
Typical restoration works includes gravel re-sheeting and pavement repairs, clean and reshaping of table drains, clearing and removal of debris material from site, bulk filling of scoured areas, rock and concrete protection works, and concrete floodway reconstruction.
Tenders must be clearly marked “WKS05-15/16 - 2015 NDRRA Approved Works - Southern Roads” and must be lodged into Council’s electronic Tender box by using the link below, by no later than 11:00am Thursday 24th March 2016.
The time of receipt of the tender is the time at which it is received by Council into the electronic tender box not the time that the sender sends the email.
Electronic submissions can be no bigger than 30MB in size. If your email exceeds this size limit you may submit multiple emails all clearly marked “Email 1 of 3, 2 of 3” etc. or alternatively a disc/USB containing the additional information, clearly marked with the tender details can be delivered to 77 Tavistock Street, Torquay and placed into the tender box.
