General Industry Briefing Details:
The South East Queensland (SEQ) region of Building and Asset Services (BAS) undertook Industry Briefing Sessions for upcoming Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) tenders in September 2015 related to upcoming tenders. A video of this session was also made available (https://youtu.be/fJ8Z-SaM_P8) for those that were unable to attend.
As HARD FM tenders have now been called and are currently under evaluation, the SEQ region is seeking to undertake further industry briefing sessions during February 2016 relating to the upcoming call for Soft Facilities Management (FM). Other BAS regions will also be undertaking industry briefing sessions in coming weeks also.
The new Soft FM tenders will cover services including cleaning, hygiene, horticulture, pest control and waste. It is intended that the release of these tenders in SEQ will occur between March and April 2016 with advertisements being undertaken through QTenders and the actual tendering through BAS eTender.

These tenders will also include mandatory site visits across a number of sites which will be further explained at the release of the tender package.
