Tender Description
The Territory is seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor for the construction of two football field (natural grass and synthetic field) and new carpark at the Melrose High School. This includes:
Complete Scope of Work includes two separable Price Options:
1. Separable Price Option No 1 - Two football fields including:
* Platform to the pavilion building
* Complete 100x 64 m grass field
* Complete 100x68 m Synthetic football field as per the Specification.
* Security fencing and gates
* Landscaping including grassing (Canberra Blend grass and dryland grass) and tree plantation
* Complete underground services including, water, sewer, stormwater and conduits
* Services connections to the pavilion building
* Flood lights to the synthetic field
* Footpaths
* Draft consolidated survey of the revised block boundary incorporating the northeast amendment
2. Separable Price Option No 2
* New Carpark
* Complete paved carpark
* Amendments to the existing carpark
Specifically, the project involves the following two separable price options:
* Separable Price Option No 1 - including but not limited to all associated earth works including bulk earthworks to the Pavilion, new services and upgrades to existing utility services, complete (100m x 64m) football natural grass field, complete (100m x 68m) football synthetic grass field, irrigation network, floodlights to the synthetic field, fencing and landscaping including footpaths, grass works and tree plantation.
* Separable Price Option No 2 - Carpark works - including but not limited to all associated earthworks, construction of new carpark pavement, stormwater drainage including entry from existing car park and car park lighting.
Alternative/Innovative Option - In addition to the original scope of work, the tenderer and at their own discretion, is encouraged to provide innovative alternative options for the synthetic and natural grass football fields.
