Provision of Small Water Craft Hire

⁠⁠⁠Parramatta City Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 61 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 178,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

An exciting business opportunity has arisen to be part of building the visitor experiences in Parramatta City by:

Providing a small water craft hire operation at Lake Parramatta Reserve, North Parramatta for a trial period of four (4) months, six (6) months, or one (1) year

Promoting the service to locals and visitors

Proposing a suggested amount for a licence/permit fee to be paid to Council, along with a payment schedule, to operate during the trial period.

Council welcomes suggestions about how the trial should be run as outlined in the EOI documentation (especially in addressing any known constraints).

Following the completion of the trial period, Council may enter into negotiations with the successful operator for an ongoing permit and licence fee arrangement.
