2016 Christmas - Pitt Street Mall

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites tenders for Sydney Christmas Activation in Pitt Street Mall for the Sydney Christmas 2016 in accordance with this request for tender.

Each year the City celebrates Christmas with the installation of Christmas trees and decorations throughout the local government area (LGA).
The City is striving to build upon the success of Boulevard of Lights and Trees from 2015 to deliver diverse, immersive and memorable sensory experiences this Christmas. The aim for Sydney Christmas 2016 is to showcase innovation with imaginative use of lighting and installations in a transformative and festive ways.

To transform Sydney into a wonderland of magical Christmas light installations that embrace the festive spirit that is only ever associated with this time of year. Not only delight but inspire Sydneysider to share, talk and be captivated by compelling installations within one of Sydney's busiest retail precincts.

The City has allocated a budget for the Sydney Christmas Pitt Street Mall activations in 2016 including the creation, development, design, supply, installation and dismantle, maintenance and transport of the decorative elements to incorporate the current Christmas branding as outlined in the Specification (Volume 2).

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this request for tender.

Submissions can also be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the tender title, number, and closing date, and placed in the Tender Box located Town Hall House, Level 1, 456 Kent Street Sydney 2000 by the nominated time and date.

Tenders close at 11AM AEST on Tuesday 1st March 2016 and submissions must be fully received by this time.
