The City of Darwin has a requirement to undertake periodic surveys to attain data on any defects and the condition of its pathways to ensure its service levels can be maintained.

The primary objective of this project is to conduct a defect and condition survey of all pathway assets and to add or update basic asset attributes where applicable. Data is to be collected in the required format to ensure the data can be uploaded into Councils asset management system, AssetFinda.

Condition data will be used to develop Councils future replacement programs and defect data is used for identification and maintenance of hazards.
