Tender Description
Council is calling for quotations for improvement works to Damm's Bridge at Biggara.
The Scope of Works are:
(a) To remove existing timber deck and steel beams
(b) Replace with new steel beams to meet load requirement (including X bracing)
(c) Manufacture and place concrete deck section minimum 4.2 metres between kerbs
(d) To supply and place Armco Rail to structure
(e) Submit Certified Engineering Drawings for the works prior to commencement
(f) Remove all demolition material off site
The successful applicant must be registered in Council's CIMS prior to the commencement of works.
The bridge is 40 metres long x 4.2 metres wide and is located 21km east of the Murray Valley Highway on the Upper Murray Highway.
