In order to achieve the program of works for the upgrading of its distribution network, Energex requires supply of Substation Batteries and Substation Battery Chargers.

Substation Batteries and Battery Chargers are used extensively throughout the distribution network substations to maintain operation performance of the network.

These items are described in the applicable Technical Specification TS 436B which sets out the technical requirements for substation batteries and battery chargers and covers the design, manufacture, testing at works, the supply of and delivery to, and the eventual recovery (for batteries) from a nominated site in Energex’s network.
