Tender Description
Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council, ABN 43 593 215 922 ('Council'), invites tenders to undertake the registration and management of the Napranum Carbon Abatement Project ('Project').
The tenderer will be required to register the Project as an eligible project in the Federal Government's Emissions Reduction Fund Scheme in accordance with the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative - Emissions Abatement through Savanna Fire Management) Methodology Determination 2015 (Cth), and manage the administrative aspects of the Project to ensure the accumulation and the successful sale of Australian Carbon Credit Units. The successful tenderer will be required to carry out the administrative aspects of the Project. Council will undertake the physical fire management activities associated with the Project.
Tender documentation will be available on 27 January 2016 and may be obtained by contacting Council on (07) 4090-5600, following which the documentation will be emailed to the applicant.
Tenders must be lodged electronically by email to: ceo@napranum.qld.gov.au by 5:00pm on 19 February 2016 ('the Closing Time'). Tenders must be valid for 60 days from the closing time.
Council reserves the right to invite all tenderers to change their tenders to take account of a change in the tender specification.
