Tender Description
The tender objective is to engage a suitably experienced lighting installer to upgrade the lighting of the Gordon Library as part of Council's asset management and energy efficiency programs. Council has undertaken a detailed lighting design for the upgrade based on a specification to provide a high quality of indoor lighting, using energy efficient LED luminaires, and incorporating intelligent lighting control to minimise the use of artificial light.
The work included in this tender is for the supply, installation, tuning and commissioning of the lighting and associated controls in accordance with the specification. This work includes but is not limited to the:
* Supply of all parts as per the specification;
* Removal and responsible disposal of all redundant equipment including but not limited to replaced light fittings and lamps, wiring (where simply removed) and ceiling tiles where not required as spares; Complete installation of parts as per the specification;
* Comprehensive testing and commissioning of the complete system according to the specification;
* Delivery of O&M manual and training
The successful tenderer will be required to undertake all work associated with the delivery of the contract under the supervision of Energy Action (Aust) Pty Ltd (Energy Action), who have been commissioned to act as the Project Manager.
Council invites tenders from companies that hold experience in the installation and commissioning on intelligent lighting systems. It is expected that orders for supply of parts will be placed in April, with onsite works commencing in June 2016.
