Tender Description
The works under this Contract consist of construction of roundabouts and associated works at North & Shoalhaven Streets, Nowra and Coomea & Bunberra Streets, Bomaderry.
The scope of work under the Contract shall be for all works as described in the Contract Documents that is necessary to provide works that are suitable or the intended purpose, and includes, but is not limited to the following:
Prepare, implement and maintain Traffic Management Plan for the duration of works, including Traffic Control Plan prepared and signed by a suitably qualified person.
Supply, mill and lay 150mm deep lift asphalt to each intersection as shown on the drawings. This comprises 100mm AC20 with 50mm AC14 wearing course. Allow for service adjustments as necessary.
Sawcut, remove and legally dispose of existing kerbs and crossings to allow construction of new pram crossings, and reinstatement of
abandoned crossings, in the locations shown on the drawings.
Excavate, prepare and construct new paths as detailed on the drawings.
Install nine metre diameter rubber roundabout by Traffic Calming Australia Pty Ltd. Rubber roundabout components are available for pick up from Council's McIntyre Way, Bomaderry Stores.
Construct central island infill with stamped bush rock pattern finish with sandstone colour and bluestone release agent, including SL72 mesh and keyed into pavement.
Supply and install all signs to AS1742 as shown on the drawings.
Supply and install all line marking to AS 1742 as shown on the drawings.
