Tender Description
The Mort Street realignment is part of the local road network within the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing project (known as TSRC). The Mort Street realignment connects the intersection of Mort St and the Ballie Henderson Hospital access (in the south east) to the intersection of Hermitage Rd and Tor St (in the north west) along the southern side of the TSRC Toll road alignment.
The Works includes but not limited to the following:
* Traffic management
* Stormwater Drainage
* Concrete Slab Protection Works (APA Gas Mains)
* Installation of new water main works and removal of existing (approximate quantity 2,000m)
* Earthworks in Cut (approximate quantity 20,000m3)
* Embankment Fill (approximate quantity 100,000m3)
* Construction of 2x Roundabouts
* Road Pavement and Surfacing (approximate quantity 20,000m2)
* Road Furniture and Landscaping
The Works are programmed to commence mid-2016.
