Tender Description
The Principal owns and operates several various pumping stations in which the switchboards are in a poor condition.
The switchboards in some cases are 50 years old and as such are past their design life.
The primary drivers for the delivery of this project are safety, reliability and quality.
Some of the issues associated with the switchboards and current installation are:
* Asbestos contamination and poisoning
* Electrical shock due to perished wiring
* Electrical shock and damage to equipment due to the ingress of water into panels
* Poor site performance and reliability
* Out date wiring standards within the panel, supply mains and consumer mains increasing the risk of electrical shock
* Out of date drawings.
