Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The City of Salisbury invites Expressions of Interest from suitable entities to manage the ongoing operation of its book sales and shop (currently located within the Len Beadell Library branch). Council’s objective is to partner with an experienced, capable provider to drive revenue from book sales and use best practice/process when disposing of surplus library items.

Council's requirement involves facilitating the distribution of debited book stock into the community through trading tables, annual book sales and Council’s book shop. The successful Registrant will be paid a management fee to provide these services.

To be successful, Registrants must be able to comply with Council policies and mandatory requirements for volunteers, WHS (work, health and safety) and customer service. Registrants with experience in retail operations or establishing social enterprises with an employment focus will be considered favourably.
