Tender Description
The Project requires sampling, testing and reporting services which may be generally be described as soil testing. Provision of geotechnical engineering advice and certification in relation to construction activities may also be required on as-needed basis.
The scope of works will include the establishment, operation and management of NATA accredited mobile laboratories at the East, Central and West zones of the project with sufficient capacity to enable the contractor to fulfill their responsibilities under the contract between April 2016 and December 2018.
Contractors must be registered as a Department of Transport and Main Roads approved supplier.
Detailed tender documents are expected to be issued by late January 2016.
General Comments:
The Contractor must have sufficient staff to commence with 15, average 45, peak 70. (No company will have the staff straight away, if they can show a history of having a large number of staff in one area would be good.
