Jetty Demolition (Early Phase of Jetty and Foreshore Precinct Development)

⁠⁠⁠Mornington Shire Council. Notice of Tender. Tender for Contract J 01/2016 - Jetty Demolition (Early Phase of Jetty and Foreshore Precinct Development).

The Mornington Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for demolition and removal/salvage of a timber jetty structure on Mornington Island.

A Site inspection is not mandatory, however tenderers are requested to contact Mornington Shire Council prior to any inspection during the tender period. Any inspections undertaken by Tenderers will be at no cost to Council.

It is a requirement of this project that the persons contracted to undertake the demolition work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme, established by the Fair Work (Building Industry) Act 2012, at the time of entering into the contract for the demolitions and while the demolition work is being carried out.

Tender documents will be available from Tuesday 8th December 2015 in electronic (.pdf) format from www.mornington.qld.gov.au.

Tenders are to be lodged in electronic (.pdf) to tenders@mornington.qld.gov.au no later than 4pm Wednesday 6th January 2016.

The lowest or any other tender will not necessarily be accepted.
