Kununurra Generation and Reliability Upgrade Project (KGRUP).

Horizon Power invites you to submit a tender for the Kununurra Generation and Reliability Upgrade Project (Tender No. 61-32570-HP01239-CO-RFT-001).

The project objective is to upgrade the diesel fuelled generation assets and diesel storage capacity at Kununurra standby power station. It is also tasked with modernising the control system and improving the reliability and availability of the backup electricity supply. The required upgrades are a combination of replacement, refurbishment and relocation of existing assets. Demolition and removal of redundant equipment is also required.

The upgrades shall be designed and installed as a permanent solution and are scheduled for completion by mid-August 2016.

Horizon Power intends to engage a single contractor to perform the works as a whole.
