Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠This is a Quality Assurance Contract.
The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement for: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful applications being awarded. Copies of the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines are available at www.procurepoint.nsw.gov.au and www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au respectively.

This is a joint Federal and State funded project.
The Building Code 2013 (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines to the Building Code 2013 (Supporting Guidelines) apply to this project. These documents are available at www.employment.gov.au/BuildingCode.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work and while the contract work is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
As part of the Conditions of Approval for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade project, Roads and Maritime Services is required to nominate an Environmental Representative (ER), who is independent of the design and construction personnel for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade. .

As part of the services, RMS is also seeking a back-up Environmental Representative and a team of senior environmental professionals as support to the nominated Environmental Representative. The ER and supporting team must be tertiary qualified in environmental science or a related discipline. They should also have extensive experience in the environmental management and auditing of major road and bridge construction or similar works.

The ER and supporting team must have the qualifications and experience to satisfy the Secretary as required in the Minister’s Conditions of Approval D23. Any contract will not be awarded without the written approval of the Secretary.

To obtain a copy of all documentation online payment of $55 (including GST) is required. Upon payment, an automated email (receipt) will be sent to both the RMS nominated email address and your nominated email address (this email address must be that of the Primary Contact of the applicant).

Upon receipt, a confidentiality deed will be emailed to your nominated email address. Once executed a soft copy of the Tender documentation will then also be emailed.
