Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd has been appointed Managing Contractor for the above project. Construction will be carried out in stages from 2016 to 2021.
The overall project value is $274M. The project scope includes:
* Construction of a new office building for approx. 950 person
* Construction of a new commercial precinct and 250 seat auditorium
* Construction of a new car park
* Construction of existing Base services (electrical, hydraulic, sewer)
* Construction of a new Base entry and road works at Medowie Road
* Upgrades to the existing southern Base entry
* Upgrades and modifications to existing buildings
* Demolition
The Managing Contractor is seeking Interest from suitably qualified Subcontractors wishing to tender for works generally described below:
* Survey
* Vegetation clearing
* Demolition
* Earthworks & Drainage
* Pilling
* Rigid and Flexible Pavements
* Landscaping
* Security Fencing
* Materials Handling & Craneage
* Electrical Infrastructure (High Voltage & Low Voltage)
* Communications Infrastructure
* Hydraulic Infrastructure (Fire Systems, Water & Sewer)
* Building Services (electrical, hydraulic, communications, mechanical)
* Façade
* Building Trades (ceilings & Partitions, doors, windows, flooring, metal roofing & cladding, joinery, FF&E).
* Structural Steel
* Concrete Structures
Applications are required to register at procurement.wlmr2@lelcon.com.au or PO Box 9, Williamtown NSW 2314 by 5pm Wednesday 9 December 2015. Applicants must be Building Code 2013 Compliant.
The Managing Contractor will assess the details provided to select suitable qualified tenderers. All entities which register will be issued with a Prequalification Checklist for completion and return. The Managing Contractor will assess the additional detail provided on the prequalification checklist and select successful tenders for the second stage of the tender process.
