Resurfacing of the main access road at RAAF Base Townsville, Edwards Road, QLD.
Remediation of Edwards Road from 5th Aviation Corner to the RAAF Base Townsville front gate roundabout (approx. 1.2km). Minor cracking and wear and fatigue cracking or pavement damage is evident in several places.
These works will include profiling of the existing bitumen layer, removal and replacement of the damaged/substandard sections of road, the replacement of the existing bitumen road surface and reinstatement of all line markings.
