Tender Description
The SMRC is inviting suitably experienced and qualified MRF operators to purchase, operate and provide waste processing services to the SMRC participant local governments.
The MRF is situated within the SMRC's regional resource recovery centre in Bannister Road, Canning Vale, and currently processes approximately 40,000 tonnes per annum of recyclables on a single shift basis.
SMRC is seeking to dispose of the mechanical plant and enter into a lease back arrangement for a minimum of 10 years for the sub-lease area land and MRF building.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled to be held at the MRF site at 2:00pm WST Thursday 10 December 2015.
Tenders submitted shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked - 'Request for Tender SMRC T2015-05 -Disposal of Materials Recovery Facility and provision of waste processing services to Participant Councils" and lodged in the tender box at the SMRC offices not later than 2:00pm Tuesday 01 March 2016.
Late tenders will not be considered. Canvassing of Councillors or officers may invalidate the Tender.
