Replacement of 3.5km AST 505.0 McKay Feeder

⁠⁠⁠Background
McKay Feeder off Anderson Street (AST) Zone Substation AST505.0 provides power to Pretty Pool and Cooke Pointe, suburbs of Port Hedland comprising mainly of domestic and commercial customers. This circuit was undergrounded under the then State Undergrounding Power Project (SUPP) in 2007 and is interconnected with Stocker circuit (AST506.0) which was also undergrounded. The circuit has been experiencing fault particularly in the joints and adversely contributing to the SAIDI and SAIFI statistics. The issues have been identified over a 3.5km stretch where numerous cable joints have failed resulting in power outages.

This tender opportunity is for the works associated with the replacement of the 3.5km of cable.
