Yass Valley Visitor Guide - 2015/16 Design and Production

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the graphic design, sales management, copy writing and print liaison of a new visitors guide

The Yass Valley Visitor Guide is considered the primary printed marketing tool for driving tourism in Yass Valley. The guide is distributed extensively throughout NSW via various tourism distribution networks.

The project includes;
Graphic Design
Design and produce artwork for a 32 page A4 size visitor guide plus cover

Design a branding concept for the brochure and submit concepts to Yass Valley Council for approval building on current versions of the guide.

On approval proceed with the production of the full brochure including;

Creation of template style advertisements for the operators and liaison with operators for advertisement approval

Supply proofs in PDF format for approval.

Prepare artwork for printing and supply the following files;
High resolution, print ready PDF file including bleed and crop marks and all font converted to outlines
Web resolution PDF files, separated into sections where required

Sales Management
The management of advertising sales (rate sheet to be provided by Yass Valley Council) to local tourism operators and businesses (incorporating additional tourism partner benefits)

Copywriting
Provide copy for the visitor guide in consultation with Yass Valley Council.
Provide a proof of the copy for revisions and approval

Print liaison
The printer will provide a proof to the agency for proofing the final document and liaise accordingly, providing the printer with approval to proceed.
Online flipping book
Creation of files for an online flipping book based on the final version of the visitor guide that does not use flash. The following features are to be included;
Page turning effect
Zoom in and zoom out
Options to print the document
Thumbnails
Supports all major browsers including those used on mobile devices
The creation of hyperlinks for all URL's in the guide

Quotes close at 4:00PM AEST on Monday 14th December and submissions must be fully received by this time.
