Council is inviting Requests for Proposal (RFP) from interested parties, to lease the Old Schoolmaster’s Cottage in Ewingsdale, NSW, for a period of up to 10 years. Council is seeking proposals from organisations providing services of quantifiable and measurable benefit to the Byron Shire Community. There is scope for commercial activities to be undertaken at the premises, as long as the activities are compatible with the reserve purpose, which has been gazetted as for “Public Recreation and Community Purposes”.

The successful proponent may be required to invest capital funding to bring the building into compliance for their proposed use. Any capital investment will be considered in the negotiation of rent and lease terms.
