Tender Description
The Melton City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified contractors for works to construct the Bridge Road Regional Play Space, on Bridge Road, Melton South 3338.
The completed works will deliver a high quality play space which is inclusive of all abilities.
Melton City Council is providing quality facilities to its rapidly growing community, and this project will compliment the adjacent Bridge Road Children’s & Community centre (completed 2015) and sporting facilities of the Bridge Road Recreation Reserve (to be completed early 2016).
Attached is a design development plan showing the works that require the construction of the following;
* Earthworks to provide mounding and topography
* Play fixtures including slides, trampolines, flying fox, swings and climbing structures
* Surfaces such as textured concrete, sand, soft-fall rubber, and mulch
* Landscaping features including water feature, integrated art, timber decking, rockwork, and planting
* Amenities and furniture including toilets, barbeques, seating, water fountains and associated services
