Tender Description
Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the road reconstruction of The Esplanade (Corser Street to ESA Park).
Works on the 1.2km site consist of:
* Drainage pits and culvert crossing renewals along with subsoil drainage installation.
* Barrier kerb and channel renewal and edge restraint construction.
* Full depth pavement reconstruction of 12,000 SM including sub-base stabilisation.
* Bitumen sealing with asphaltic concrete wearing course.
* Reconstruction of a shared pathway with segmental pavers.
* Landscaping works of keystone walls and barrier fencing.
* Assorted minor concrete works.

Tenders marked “Contract No ENG 8 - 15/16 - Esplanade (Corser St to ESA Park) - Road Reconstruction" must be lodged in the tender box in the foyer of the Hervey Bay Administration Centre, 77 Tavistock Street, Torquay, no later than 11am, Thursday, 10 December 2015.
