Contract for Auckland City Rail Link Enabling Works - Temporary Accommodation Works - DSBJVSC4

⁠⁠⁠The scope of works broadly includes:
Removal of kerb-lines and car parking areas within the existing station forecourt immediately located on the eastern side of the Glasshouse building;

Paving of car park and crossings flush within existing paved areas of the station forecourt to create a pedestrian forecourt;

Removal of the existing central water feature to secure off-site storage and decking over its foundation to increase area of plaza for movement of pedestrians and capacity of plaza.

Provision of two temporary two-storey buildings to the north and south sides of the pedestrian forecourt to provide ticketing facilities, public toilets, service rooms, staff offices and staff amenities;

Provision of two temporary single storey buildings to the eastern side of the pedestrian forecourt to provide a customer service facility and a retail area;

Provision of services to the buildings;

Provision of a large canopy structure spanning between the buildings to afford protection to primary weather across the pedestrian forecourt;

Relocation existing ticketing machines and existing passenger information displays from within the CPO building.

Adjustments to kerbs/footpaths/roads within Tyler/Galway/Commerce Streets to accommodate for buses and public diversion away from the CPO;

Modifications within the glasshouse structure - bridge widening, installation of temporary stairs, demolition works etc.
