Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd Operation of the Cafe, Level 7 Port Office Building.

The Port of Brisbane Pty Limited (PBPL) is calling for Expressions of Interest to lease and operate the Port Office Cafe located within the Port Office building at 3 Port Central Avenue, Port of Brisbane.

The cafe comprises of 186 square metres, with seating for 60 guests or a function capacity for 100 guests. Cafe visitors currently enjoy an informal dining experience with extraordinary views of the Port and Moreton Bay islands via floor to ceiling windows and an adjoining viewing platform from the level 7 balcony.

The cafe has recently undergone a modern refurbishment and is busy servicing a regular customer base with fresh, healthy and affordable food and beverages.

The Port Office building accommodates PBPL employees, a Visitors' Centre, conference and meeting rooms and various Port tours, for both internal and external stakeholders. The cafe benefits from this traffic, providing catering for up to 160 guests at any one time.

More than 30 businesses, or a workforce population of approximately 2500 during business hours, are based at The Port of Brisbane and located within a five minute drive from the cafe.

The supplier will be expected to meet the following requirements:
Minimum opening times of 6.5 hours per day between 8:30am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Cafe and catering services are to be supplied competently, efficiently and in a reputable manner. The supplier is to maintain customer satisfaction and to ensure customer satisfaction is met, the supplier will provide customer feedback forms.

The Brisbane City Council 5 Star "Eat Safe" rating must be attained.

Compliance with all work, health and safety requirements in relation to the conduct of the permitted use, and the occupation and use of the premises.

An Expression of Interest will include:
i. Indicative detailed business plan for operating the cafe
ii. Details of experience in hospitality/catering
iii. Financial capability
