Tender Description
Council are looking to engage a suitable contractor to construct a new 2.0m wide concrete shared path along the banks of the Wollondilly River.
Stage 1 of the project will include approximately 2000m of path from Marsden Weir to the Victoria Street Bridge. The Wollondilly Walking Track is the town walk linking residential areas to the CBD. The existing track (Stage 1) is an unformed path with limited erosion controls and no signage.
The new track will be all-weather construction with improved drainage and grades, and will significantly improve the accessibility to the CBD for a wide range of the community.
A mandatory pre tender meeting will be held on site (Marsden Weir car park) at 10am on 24 November 2015.
