Tender Description
The Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre (MAAC) is supplied water from the hot artesian bore situated immediately adjacent to the MAAC facility.
The Spent Artesian Water Pump Station facility was designed to accommodate the flows from the old Moree Baths and it now needs to be upgraded to accommodate increased flows from the MAAC.
The spent artesian water is pumped to the new Water Ski Park in the Moree Evergreen Precinct via a rising main.
Recent operational experience reveals that the use of submersible pumps will likely provide the best results.
Accordingly it is proposed to follow the general design philosophy of a sewer pump station.
Moree Plains Shire Council is calling for appropriately qualified suppliers to submit a price for submersible pumps as per the specification.
