Landfill Closures Project

⁠⁠⁠Gilgandra Shire Council is proposing to close its four rural waste facilities located at Biddon, Curban, Armatree and Tooraweenah and to remediate the sites in accordance with the landform design for each site.

The completion of this project will ensure that Council is compliant with the changes to the Waste Regulations introduced by the State Government on 1 November 2014.

There is 6980m³ of fill to be excavated and transported to the sites. In addition there is 3608 m³ of mulch to be loaded from the Gilgandra Waste Management Facility and transported to the sites.
