The Australian High Commission is providing support to the Government of Papua New Guinea under the Joint Understanding between Australia and Papua New Guinea on further bilaterial cooperation on health, education and law and order to the Government of Papua New Guinea to develop key capital infrastructure investments in the health, education and law and order to develop key capital infrastructure investments in the health, education, law and justice, and transport sectors.

The Australian High Commission has committed to lead and undertake the upfront master planning, scoping, design and feasibility assessments associated with these infrastructure investments and related works. To support the implementation of these investments a Technical Enabling Unit (TEU), implemented by Cardno, has been established to provide technical advice and services and manage and oversee the supply of goods and services, including the coordinated design of essential early works identified under the redevelopment needs for ANGAU Hospital. All works will be tendered and procured through competitive contract or supply agreements in line with the Australian Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.

TEU is currently seeking Applicants to register their expression of interest for the supply and delivery of the following services to ANGAU Memorial Hospital:

Tender documentation for the demolition of residential buildings;
Design and documentation of a support services building - which will include medical facilities;
Design and documentation of a workshop building; and
Design and documentation of a dental clinic.
