Taylors Bridge, Esk Crows Nest Road–Bridge Piling
Your company is offered the opportunity to provide a lump sum tender for the supply and installation of 10 bored piles for Taylors Bridge on Esk Crows Nest Road, near Esk and Toogoolawah. The tender is to include all costs associated with the boring, supply & installation of pile liners, supply and placement of steel reinforcement cages, supply and pour of N40 concrete, and establishment of all piling equipment as detailed on the attached drawings in Appendix A.Your company is also requested to provide provisional rates for the following items:
* Extension of piles, including the supply and installation of pile steel liners, reinforcement cages and N40 concrete–rate permetre. Separate rates for 750 and 1200 diameter piles.
* Splice welded joints of pile liners including all labour and consumables–rate per splice joint. Separate rates for 750 and 1200 diameter piles.
* Dayworks schedule of rates for major plant items and onsite supervision.
Alternatively, your company may choose to provide a low risk option to Council by providing a lump sum tender for 10 bored piles as above with your company taking the risk on pile length and liner length.
Works to be in accordance with attached drawings and TMR MRTS63 (Oct 2010). The Geotech report is included for your information to assist with the preparation of your quotation. Council is looking to have these piles installed as soon as practicable of the acceptance of your tender. Please provide an anticipated time frame for delivery of the service.
