Various Minor Concrete Works

⁠⁠⁠The construction of concrete footpaths on verges will be executed under the supervision of and to the direction of the City of South Perth.

All levels for the grading, surface finish, jointing or any other thing will be as directed by the City.

All material used in the construction of concrete footpaths will be in accordance with the standard specification and any materials used which are inferior to those specified or as directed by the City will be liable to rejection and replacement without any payment or compensation being made to the Contractor for the supply, delivery, laying, placing, finishing, removal or disposal of anything so rejected.

Protection of works and the public will be provided by the contractor, who will supply and maintain all the necessary signs, barricades, road warning lamps, temporary bridges or other as may be directed by the City to provide for the general safety of the public and to protect the work from damage for a minimum period of two (2) days following completion of the works. Failure to so provide will render the Contractor liable under the contract

If, during the course of the works any damage caused to a City asset, public utility services, private property by the Contractor or by others owing to inadequate protection by the Contractor. The Contractor will be held responsible for the repair, replacement, legal claims, liability or any other thing which may arise as a result of the damage caused.

The provision of various minor concrete works on road reserves within the City required under this tender shall be for a period of three (3) years with the option of a 12 month period at the City's discretion.

The Tender must be lodged by the Deadline. The Deadline for this Request is 2.00pm (AWST) Tuesday 17 November, 2015.

Mailed, electronic mailed Tenders, hand delivered and Tenders submitted by facsimile or telephone will not be accepted. Tenderers must ensure that all electronic submission files are clearly named with the:
Principal's Tender Number (i.e. RFT 20/2015) and Tenderer's Name.
