LG314/254/16/007 Public Art in Surfers Paradise

⁠⁠⁠The Principal is searching for artists, or an artist led team, to create an iconic artwork.

In a first for the Gold Coast we’re asking artists to respond to a space and transform it through art.

The final artwork is expected to reflect the character of the Gold Coast, our subtropical abundance, it will engage the audience and ignite the imagination of both locals and visitors.

Picking up on the theme Urban Oasis this significant public art project will mark the pivot point between our vibrant nightlife in Surfers Paradise and our city’s cultural heart – the cultural precinct in Evandale.
