BACKGROUND
Matrix Homes are a specialist designer, fabricator and supplier of modern, stylish, modular housing. Matrix's mission is to provide high quality, energy efficient housing at an affordable cost whilst providing significant advantages to traditional build in terms of the time of delivery.

Matrix Homes is looking for expressions of interest from contractors, either nationally or locally, for carrying out the following activities on a turnkey basis. It is Matrix's intention that the supplier will provide a solution for each site on a fixed price basis. As many sites will be different and the exact services required may also vary from site to site, Matrix requests an outline of the Contractor's likely indicative costings, with a fixed price to be agreed in advance in respect of each site.

THE SERVICES
Matrix is looking for a "turnkey" solution, whereby the Contractor will provide the following services on a regular basis but involving different sites. In no order of priority the services shall comprise:
1. Piling
2. Services
3. Joining the modules, and make good internally and externally as required.
4. Garage and driveway, including internal access.
5. Any additional works the customer requires.
6. Penetrometer tests
7. Site Survey
8. Liasing with the Council for inspections and issuing of CCC
9. Other works such as solar power, water tanks, sewerage systems.
10. Engineering

This proposal covers new construction as well as additions to existing buildings.

2. Provide a General Statement of qualifications, experiences and relevant references that apply to the contractor.

3. Construction Costs
a. Describe cost control methods you use and how you establish cost estimates. Include information on determining costs associated with construction of existing facilities.
b. Describe in detail how your standard change order procedure works.
c. Provide an indicative time frame for carrying out the abovementioned services on a "standard" or "typical" basis.

Requests for Proposal are required to be received by Matrix by no later than 6 November 2015

Matrix is not obliged to accept any proposal provided. Contractor provided information will be treated as "confidential information".
