Security Services

⁠⁠⁠Sydney Trains (ST), including NSW TrainLink, is soon to release a request for proposal (RFP) for the provision of security services for the next eight years (4+2+2).

Scope Headlines:
* Security Officers to provide security at Maintenance Centres, Stabling Yards, Stations and the rail corridor and at Special Events when requested.
* Mobile, static and foot patrols of ST and NSW TrainLink locations, partnering with ST Security and NSW Police.
* The option of providing Canine (Dog Handling) and other specialist security services, e.g. alarm monitoring
* Employ Mobility Technology to improve the detection and reporting of security incidents and the management of Security Officers.

Supplier Capacity:
* Capable of managing a large body of employed Security Officers who are motivated and actively looking to improve security outcomes by protecting our customers, our assets and our operations.
* Able to identify opportunities to improve security outcomes and reduce costs by identifying and deploying security technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Possess a dedicated, highly committed management team, who implement systems that assure the performance and quality of service delivery.
* Capable of prioritising the health and safety of their employees, and pro-active in the development of Security Officer competency and understanding of ST and NSW TrainLink work environment.
