Construction of Coastwatcher Park - Youth Space

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council (Council) is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the Construction of Coastwatcher Park Youth Space.

Coastwatcher Park at Trinity Beach is a district level park servicing Trinity Beach as well as parts of Trinity Park and Kewarra Beach. The park currently has 2 playgrounds, designated parking, exercise equipment, walking track, duck pond, toilets, water and shelter. The park is being upgraded to include a youth space precinct.

The works shall also include but not necessarily be limited to:
* Installation of shade shelter and seating.
* Earthworks and site drainage.
* Construction of Skate infrastructure.
* Installation of table tennis, bouldering and parkour elements
* Landscaping & soft fall
* Pathways
* Informal Soccer Goals
* Terraced Seating
* Basketball court
* Park signage

The forum will close 5 days prior to the tender closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, clarifications etc are posted prior to this time.

Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box, using the attached returnable forms. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. The tender closes at 4.30pm AEST on 10 November 2015 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced submission or all or any part of a submission and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.

Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal.

Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
