EOI for Head Contractors for the Design and Construction of the Green Square Library & Plaza

⁠⁠⁠The City of Sydney invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Head Contractors for the Design and Construction of the Green Square Library & Plaza.

The interested party will be required to deliver the winning competition design for the new Green Square Library and Plaza which will provide a new civic heart to the future town centre and provide essential public space and amenity in one of Sydneys most rapidly changing urban villages. The library is uniquely designed beneath a plaza and will be the community living room for residents, businesses and visitors.

The City is seeking to shortlist two prospective tenderers who are inspired by the chance to shape a new town centre in Sydney and are prepared to collaborate in an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process to finalise the design and deliver the Stage 2 Main Works. Interested Parties are required to demonstrate their capacity, financial and technical capability for providing the services within the required timeframe, have had previous experience on similar sized projects and in ECI or a collaborative tendering process, and demonstrate a commitment to Work Health and Safety and environmentally sound principles.
