EOI for the Disposal of Scrap, Valuable or Salvageable Material

⁠⁠⁠TasNetworks is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to develop a short list of vendors capable of providing disposal of Scrap, Valuable or Salvageable Materials.

TasNetworks requires state-wide management of its waste material. This includes the collection and disposal of scrap metal, scrap timber and other salvaged waste material.

The Service Provider/s will be required to provide and collect salvage bins at a number of TasNetworks resource and response centres state-wide.

The following list of items to be collected is:
a. treated and natural wood poles
b. scrap timber;
c. cross arms;
d. steel;
e. aluminium;
f. copper;
g. transformers;
h. switchgear
i. electricity meters;
j. stobie poles; and
k. sundry items

This will be split into two separable portions, metals and non-metals. Tenderers are able to bid for one or both separable portions. The use of subcontractors is acceptable as long as they meet all requirements of TasNetworks. The head Contractor is the single point of contact for all communication and will assume total responsibility for their subcontractors.

Ensure in your EOI submission you include the completed Capability Statement and signed Declaration by Vendor included in the expression of interest pack along with any other supporting documentation.

Responses are requested in Portable Document Format (PDF) or Word format and must be lodged in the Tenderlink electronic tender box set up for this EOI by the closing time 2:00pm AEST Monday 19th October 2015.

An online forum has been set up on the Tenderlink site for all questions from all vendors, and replies from TasNetworks will be posted solely via this forum.
