Draft Coffs Coast Region Resource Recovery and Waste Management Strategy 2015 - 2027

Council at its meeting on 24 September 2015 resolved to place the draft Coffs Coast Region Resource Recovery and Waste Management Strategy on public exhibition. The draft strategy identifies seven priority areas:
* Avoid and Reduce Waste Generation
* Increase Recycling
* Divert More Waste from Landfill
* Manage Problem Waste Better
* Reduce Litter
* Reduce illegal Dumping
* Infrastructure Management

A copy of the this document is available for viewing at Council's Administration Centre, 44 Princess Street, Macksville, the libraries in Princess Street, Macksville and Ridge Street, Nambucca Heads and on Council's website.

Written submissions are encouraged and will be received up until 4.00pm Wednesday 28 October 2015.
