Tender Description
The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of the manufacture and installation of wayfinding signage throughout the local government area (LGA) as part of the implementation of the new Legible Sydney wayfinding system in accordance with this request for tender (RFT).
The project scope/services of this RFT will require a multidisciplinary approach. For a successful submission, tenderers will demonstrate a range of expertise within the proposed project team, including the manufacturing and installation of wayfinding signage in the public domain, structural engineering, underground service scanning, civil works as well as graphic design and design development.
The project team will be led by a qualified project manager with proven expertise in the management of all aspects of signage implementation. The nominated project manager of the Contractor will be responsible for all coordination and management of the project team members including their payments. She/he will be handling all communication with the City representing the one point of contact of the project team.
Tenders close at 11AM AEST on Tuesday 03 November 2015 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
