Whitsunday Coast Airport - Joint Venture

⁠⁠⁠The Whitsunday Regional Council (“the Council”) has resolved to seek Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Joint Venture (JV) investment in the Whitsunday Coast Airport at Proserpine, its related land bank and associated aerodromes at Bowen and Collinsville, situated in the Whitsunday region of Queensland.

With scheduled services connecting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, record passengers, a strong balance sheet, fast growing tourism, agribusiness and resources sectors, and an estimated A$3bn in overseas investment, the Whitsundays is the most exciting region of Queensland.

Council’s vision for the Airport is to be a world class aviation facility, focused on future growth, while a significant opportunity exists for the Airport to become an integrated transport and logistics hub incorporating road, rail and air transport.
