Plumbing Services (Fire & Water Service Upgrade) Naval Base Holiday Park

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and licensed Plumbing Contractor to undertake construction services for the supply and installation of a new combined fire and water service at the Naval Base Holiday Park, Lot 373 Cockburn Road, Naval Base, Western Australia.

The works specifically requires the replacement of the existing water service which will become redundant once the new service is installed and commissioned.

This Specification is intended to cover all aspects of the installation for the completion of the project and the Specification is to be read in conjunction with the 'hydraulic services' layouts and general detail drawings and any other instructions that may be issued.

Where reference is made in this specification to an 'Inspector', it is defined as the authorised representative of a statutory authority, department or agency which has jurisdiction over the type of works being undertaken.

The works and authorities are as follows:

For Water Services and Backflow:
a. Plumbing Licensing Board; and
b. Water Corporation.

Note:
1. Mandatory Site Meeting: refer to Clause 1.6 of the Conditions of Tendering.
2. Security - Bank Guarantees: the successful Contractor shall be required to provide Bank Guarantees; refer to Clause 7.79 of the Special Conditions of Contracts for details.
