This is a Quality Assurance Contract.
Roads and Maritime Services proposes to award one or more contracts for the supply and delivery of up to 53 kilometres of temporary safety barriers for the Kariong to Somersby (K2S) project and the Tuggerah to Doyalson (T2D) project. Both of these projects involve widening the M1 Pacific Motorway.
In order to provide a safe environment for workers and road users, safety barriers are required to provide protection between carriageways and the worksite for the duration of the projects.
The safety barrier supply contractor must be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Principal their financial capacity to undertake the works at the tendered price.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement.
This project is funded by the Federal Government and the NSW State Government.
The Building Code 2013 (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines to the Building Code 2013 (Supporting Guidelines) applies to this project. This document can be viewed at the Australian Government website at http://employment.gov.au/building-code.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10am on Monday, 14 September 2015 in the Hunter Room at Newcastle City Hall, 209 King Street, Newcastle NSW 2300. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
