RMS seeks tenders from suitable training organisations who can provide AIS Training Services for people across NSW who wish to apply for RMS approval to become third party service providers as Authorised Examiners and Proprietors. The people, when authorised by RMS, act as pubic officials in providing vehicle inspection services checking light and heavy vehicles for registration purposes at nominated inspection facilities on behalf of RMS for its customers.
This contract, a Professional Service Agreement (PSA), is for the provision of AIS Training Services to industry across NSW on behalf of RMS. RMS requires the successful tenderer to deliver this training with consistent quality at various locations across NSW where industry demand for this training reaches predetermined levels.
All Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement and must be an acceptable legal entity.
Organisations seeking to submit a Tender must have:
* All relevant licensing & accreditations necessary to provide training services in NSW;
* Demonstrated prior experience in providing similar training services to the automotive industry;
* Demonstrated capability in delivery training services of consistent quality in metropolitan and country locations across NSW;
* Demonstrated Quality Assurance System, Environmental Management & WHS documentation and experience;
* Suitable, qualified and experienced personnel, facilities, training material and methodology to meet the service delivery plan;
* Demonstrated financial capacity / soundness to undertake the work;
* Other requirements as detailed in RFT and PSA documents;
RMS will not pay the successful Tenderer nor will that Tenderer pay RMS to deliver those AIS Training Services. Cost recover for the successful Tenderer shall come from the prescribed fees set for each course type and payable by each course Participant who attends the training.
The contract is being offered for three years from the “Services Start Date” specified in the PSA, with an option for the principal to extend the “Services End Date”.
Tender shall be submitted before 1700 hrs (5.00pm) Sydney time, on Friday, 2 October 2015. Tenderers shall submit their tenders on E-tender.
