Provision of Daily Collection & Banking of Cash & Cheques

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the Provision of Daily Collection & Banking of Cash & Cheques, including the Provision of a Change Service & Daily Collection & Distribution of Mail between various Hunter Water Customer Centres & Head Office.

The contractor will be responsible for undertaking the following work, tasks and activities for Hunter Water:
* Daily collection and banking of cash and cheques for Hunter Water's Customer Centres located at Boolaroo, Maitland and Newcastle Head Office Complex.
* Provision of a change service when required for the aforementioned Customer Centres.
* Daily collection of mail to and from Head Office (Honeysuckle Newcastle) Ground Floor to the Customer Centres at Boolaroo and Maitland.

The object of the service is to provide Hunter Water with a service that is in accordance with the Cash in Transit Code of Practice (Workcover Version 2002) reliable, highly responsive, well managed and controlled at least cost to Hunter Water.

Tenders close at 2.00 pm on Thursday 17 September 2015 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Hunter Water is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Hunter Water staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
