The Supply and Maintenance of Crash Safety Barrier Infrastructure and Components for the Public Transport Authority

⁠⁠⁠The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires the services of a contractor to provide infrastructure and components (parts/materials/labour for existing Crash Safety Barrier Systems on the PTA network, and excludes the purchase of installing new complete Crash Safety Barrier Systems).

The PTA currently has two Crash Barrier Design Systems in the Urban Rail/Freeway transport corridor network, ‘Sentryline’ and ‘Brifen’. The PTA requires the services of an experienced Contractor to primarily supply goods (Crash Barrier components/ materials) with the PTA typically installing most of the safety barrier infrastructure and components it purchases.

By exception, the PTA may require the Contractor to provide occasional installation (particularly as it relates to large assets, technical installations and emergency work) and as such, the Contractor shall be accompanied by PTA personnel on-site to comply with any potential need for Rail Safety Requirements.
