Expression of Interest: Kiosks Horseshoe Bay & Crescent Head

⁠⁠⁠As Reserve Trust Manager, Kempsey Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from proponents with the capability, vision and relevant commercial experience to lease, either separately or together, Horseshoe Bay Kiosk at South West Rocks and Crescent Head Kiosk, both located in the scenic Macleay Valley Coast on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

Both Kiosks are located in popular tourism locations that are considered to have strong commercial growth potential and provide a quality tourism experience. Boasting pristine beaches, unspoiled hinterland, a temperate sub-tropical climate and a relaxed, nature-based tourism experience, the Macleay Valley Coast is a popular tourist destination that has experienced considerable growth in visitor numbers in recent years.

The Macleay's resident population of almost 30,000 people plays host to approximately 550,000 visitors per year. More information on the Macleay Valley Coast's tourism sector can be found at www.macleayvalleycoast.com.au

Crescent Head and South West Rocks are located off the Pacific Highway and are featured destinations of the Legendary Pacific Coast, being 450kms north of Sydney and 500kms south of Brisbane. Commercial passenger flight airports are located nearby in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

It is the Trust's intention to offer a lease over the site(s) for a period of 5 years with a further option for 5 years. However, proposals for an extended term based on the level of investment supported by a business case may be considered.

Kempsey Shire Council will host two site inspections and interested parties are invited to register to attend:
