The Hawkins* Rumker Drilling Services tender seeks to procure a drilling contractor with prior experience in coalfields drilling to conduct drilling operations for the Geological Survey of New South Wales in order to assess the geology and identify the extent of the coal resources in the Hawkins-Rumker project area located to the north of Rylstone in eastern NSW.

The drilling services will include:

* up to 25 HQ diameter cored boreholes;
* up to 2 HQ diameter non - cored boreholes.

The drilling services are expected to be completed within 12 months of contract commencement. The drilling contractor must be able to provide a suitable drilling rig, all necessary support equipment and consumables and an appropriately trained and experienced drilling crew to perform the required services.

The successful tenderer will be expected to conduct the drilling services in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and will be required to comply with all relevent legislation. The contractor will be requried to perform the services in accordance with the Services Contract in Part C of the tender package and the Mandatory Requirements set out in Part D of the tender package.
